We all need a little encouragement once in a while! Our brains were never wired to handle 24/7 information, and so much news these days is bad! Even just everyday life can get overwhelming sometimes: Parenting, caregiving, working at a job, or just getting household duties done.

God uses a variety of ways to encourage us: Time in nature, a smile from a service worker in a restaurant or store, a pastor’s Sunday sermon, a quick word from a devotional app or Scripture reading, and many more.

Some of these pieces are my own “Reflections” from my column in a local paper, or musings about faithful people I’ve met over my lifetime. I hope they encourage you!
