As a writer for the Assemblies of God AG News, the Branson Globe, and other publications, I love talking with people who use their platform, large or small, public or private, to make a difference! As the daughter of a hard-working WWII veteran, I love stories of people who lived through some horrific experiences and came out stronger. As these inspirational people inform my perception of today’s news and culture, occasionally I feel I should respond, but most of all I hope the stories bring hope, encouragement, and a smile.
I’m thankful to be a 14-year cancer survivor. With some friends recently being diagnosed with cancer, I thought it might be timely to re-share this information, which I originally wrote as a series of BlogSpot posts in 2010. Perhaps it will help others know they’re not alone.
